I feel like I should point out that Mark Henry lifted the Inch Dumbbell in 2002, becoming the first person to do it aside from Thomas Inch (the inventor). His goal is to become the strongest man to have ever lived, so he wants to do everything that people have claimed to be impossible.
I love how everyone is like “Delivery man so strong to lift unliftable dumbbell” but in reality it’s not because it’s heavy it’s because of the awkward handle and only being able to use one arm
I love hearing "only one person has lifted it" when there's videos of Martins Licis, Eddie Hall, Brian Shaw, Odd Haugen, and many others lifting the Thomas Inch DB.
Eddie hall didn't lift the 78kg bell without tilting it the thing is it's handle being the size it is means you do need either a super human grip or large hands like mark Henry
I have MS and have lifted a copy of this dumbbell. I have poor control of my fingers, so I have to use alternate types of grips when lifting things. That is is the key to this challenge. To lift the dumbbell, you need to try to use your hand and not your fingers to grip the large cross bar.
Ik this is a joke, but its not impossible to lift, many people can easily lift that weight, it’s just impossible to life using only one hand at the handle as it makes it too hard to grip
There's actually a trick to lifting the "unliftable dumbbell", and it isn't chalk. Yes chalk will help, a little bit, but it's about the grip style used. There are different styles of grip that exist, from the planar's grip, the fencer's grip, tennis grip, etc. The one needed to lift these is called the monkey's grip, and it's not named after the animal, but the tool. Specifically, it is named after the Monkey Iron. In the 1920s there was a type of cast precursor to the modern Monkey Wrench, and both the Monkey Iron and Monkey Wrench work on the same principle, gripping not at the back of the tool's opening like a standard crescent wrench, but by the teeth at the front of the wrench. The Monkey Grip is done by applying as much pressure between the thumb and the fingertips, rather than in the thumb's cradle. So instead of grasping these weights wrapping the fingers around the bar, or trying to use the scoop method as shown in this video, you need to grip it with a claw, finger tips pointed down toward the middle of the bar, and thumb applying pressure on the opposite side. when doing this, your knuckles should be bent tightly and pointed at the floor with your thumb squarely on top of the bar.
@Zielony_Rubin 🏳️🌈⃠ wtf did you not watch the video?! The weight wasn’t the problem it was the shape of it and the handle. It would have been delivered in a box or package not a goddamn forklift
They're all liftable the reason why it's difficult is due the middle bar size not changing. The lighter ones are simple cause well they're light but as they get heavier the more difficult it is to keep a solid grip. I figure most people know this already
There are people who can lift it part wat or hold it in certain ways, but the record feat of strength that only the creator and Mark Henry have done is being able to do a single arm snatch and clean starting from the ground with it
And Mark Henry literally holds a record for being able to lift the heaviest of this kind of dumbbell. It's a pretty common, if a bit outdated, thing in strongman. I'm not sure if these guys just somehow missed an entire sport by accident or if it was on purpose.
I wonder what happens when the delivery man actually can’t lift something though do they think ahead and find someone who qualifies or do they just struggle?

The one time he lifts with his legs instead of his back is the time it works...
My mind: But how did he take it out of the box?
Delivery man: *"hmmm this package seems a bit heavy"*
I have MS and have lifted a copy of this dumbbell. I have poor control of my fingers, so I have to use alternate types of grips when lifting things. That is is the key to this challenge. To lift the dumbbell, you need to try to use your hand and not your fingers to grip the large cross bar.
Him: “No one in the world can lift this dumbbell!”
Me: “Then how did you get it inside?”
@Jonathan_Gaming YT how did he put it in a box
Ik this is a joke, but its not impossible to lift, many people can easily lift that weight, it’s just impossible to life using only one hand at the handle as it makes it too hard to grip

Browney: This dumbell is unliftable
Also Browney: *proceeds to lift it at the start od the vid*

amazon man: “you have underestimated my power”
How did the delivery man carry that he must be a champion
The guy that delivered the dumbells watching this video: 👁️👄👁️
@Zielony_Rubin 🏳️🌈⃠ wtf did you not watch the video?! The weight wasn’t the problem it was the shape of it and the handle. It would have been delivered in a box or package not a goddamn forklift
@Caleb and they didint ever show theirs garage doors?
the handle is what makes it unliftable so he was able to lift it because its in a box

The cardboard: You dare attempt my strength!?!
bro that mailman's power is over 9000
They're all liftable the reason why it's difficult is due the middle bar size not changing. The lighter ones are simple cause well they're light but as they get heavier the more difficult it is to keep a solid grip.
I figure most people know this already
pov: you’re looking for a comment that doesn’t talk about the delivery man
CHclip comments in a nutshell: zero originality
Funny thing is the requirement is to lift the dumbell with ONE hand only not with both, which almost everyone in the comment section overlooked
Delivery man
@T A facts
Even this comment is about it
How’s the delivery person supposed to deliver the dumbbells 🤣🤣
“BREAKING NEWS! The delivery man has now been proven as an undercover STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD.”
Am I the only one who thinks he looks like Jace from shadow hunters series
I bet Shaq could lift it😂😂
Brian Shaw not only lifted this, he lifted two of them and he even did incline bench with them.
There are people who can lift it part wat or hold it in certain ways, but the record feat of strength that only the creator and Mark Henry have done is being able to do a single arm snatch and clean starting from the ground with it

Corridor crew arm stretch effect going hard 😂
But wait there is one more person that y’all is Missing that lifted them up……….The person who put them in the box.
After 10 seconds of thinking I know the secret on how to lift it
I wonder what happens when the delivery man actually can’t lift something though do they think ahead and find someone who qualifies or do they just struggle?
Delivery man: “Do you even lift, bro?”
If you bought that online I want to see the footage of it arriving to your house 🤣
Sooooo, if it's unliftable, than how did you take it out of the package when it arrived?
Me: wondering how the delivery guy delivered the unliftable dumbbell
