As a truck driver, this is exactly what it feels like to drive through a large city
Other cars are just like children
Is there, other than delivery, ever any reason for trucks to drive in a large city? I'm curious, since trucks just are SO much more fucked than normal cars? It's not meant in any offense, but shouldn't you always try to keep trucks as far away from people as possible?

There are rules.... Even if you are 5 years old.. Parents need to watch their kids. Rules like, 1 at a time, give way and don't cross the red line or you may just get some handlebars smashed into your teeth. Simple, right? I'm sure you understand.

Hi, the parent of a young child here. He will be encouraged to be adventurous, and try new things. He will also be taught the areas that are and are not safe for him. I will help him go into the more advanced areas when safe, instead of letting him muck about a track like that.Thank you 👍
This is so common with kids, I swim laps and they always without a doubt end up being in my way despite having 3/4 of the pool to themselves.
uh being in a pool is hardly comparable to the video lol
@@xZinnie I think he means both occurrences are annoying
@@xZinnieactually, I think it's quite similar. A public area, in which everyone is expected to use the same space, and either due to parents being arrogant, being slightly ignorant or being out of control, the kids get in the way, and continue to do so. Also @joesphielle watch out for old ladies swimming breaststroke across widths
Kids have perfect danger sense. That's the only way I can explain how they go towards it every time.
It's the same principal as when you're skiing and it's generally considered a bad tactic to think to yourself: Don't hit the trees. Because then you're more likely to hit the trees if you only focus on the path you're less likely to hit the trees. These kids have this. They know something is dangerous but because they have no time to think and can' focus on anything else they don't move or move toward danger.
This is why you always supervise your child in a older environment. It’s a park where it is dangerous enough without little gremlins roaming around.
they were supervised, you can hear the parents warning their kids in the clips. The guy was just likely going fast and the parents noticed the guy just as fast as the guy noticed the kid
Funny how people bring their children to skate parks like it’s a playground 😂😂
In case children get hurt you're going to be punished by their parents😅😅
All these kids are skating though. Scooter, skateboard, skateboard, bike, skateboard. They're using the skatepark as intended. They're just young and lack spacial awareness. Seems like a couple of these parents are trying though, you can hear one yell "what are you doing?" To their child who's in the way, and another saying "look out" when the biker comes near.
@@PragmaticBeeYou don't send an untrained soldier to a battleground. These parks are dangerous, they should at least know how to keep their momentum and not stop on the middle of the fking track. If they get hurt, I'd just laugh my ass off. They were asking for it.
@@Ssek16 that's a poor mentality. It's the responsibility of EVERYONE to ensure they're being safe, respectful and vigilant. These parks are for everyone to enjoy, not just experienced and older riders. As someone with more experience than another, you should feel a bit more pride and responsibility to ensure you're keeping the hobby safe and fun for all.Yes, inevitably if a child is hurt at a park of any kind, the brunt of the responsibility lays on the parents. But it isn't their responsibility alone, it is yours as well, as someone who is also actively using the equipment that is being shared by all. If you hit a child while playing, you clearly took no responsibility of being vigilant to your surroundings, just as much as the child wasn't vigilant of their surroundings. Hopefully you grow up to be a kind and respectable young adult.
@@PragmaticBee I don't care. It's mainly an unritten rule. Nothing says that a big fking mural that you climb can't be climbed with kids, but we do not. Why? Unritten rules.I don't care if it's the parents fault nor the kids fault, if it's on my way, it's getting ran over.
The third one made my heart warm when u threw the bike so u didnt hurt him 😭
Should be important to teach your kids that the skatepark is an active and constantly rotating gear - it’s always moving. Everyone around you is doing something and that you shouldn’t pause or turn into someone else’s riding. It’s also important to make sure that we as the bikers, skaters, and scooter people who have grown into the skatepark, to ensure the quality and core memory of the skatepark to kids, to teach them that it’s okay to be there and ride, because that’s what it’s their for. Ensure they have a good time, and they will always come back for decades to come.

I know as an adult there’s things you just have to let go… like sledding. I went for the first time in years (I’m 24) because we only get one big snow a year here now. When I tell you these kids looked me dead in my eye, saw I was waiting for them to stop walking in front of me to the top of the hill, sat their sled down 2 ft in front of me and went down. The RAGE I felt was unparalleled… I remember learning when I was a kid that if you didn’t get out of the way, you got a concussion. They haven’t been taught that lesson I suppose. So I was tempted to teach that lesson, but I felt bad. (but also would have been arrested so).

These are some brutal last second saves, this guy has some skill. It’s a shame people bring their children to places like this and just let them wander around without keeping an eye on them. I know that at some point your kid needs to grow up and learn how to do things on their own, but the minute their kid dive bombs in front of a bike and gets a concussion or broken bone, the parents are quick to immediately attack the person who accidentally hit them, as if it isn’t the parents fault for leaving a 5-10 year old child in attended at a skate park. Any area that is designated for speed, skill, or physical talent is not a place meant for children to be left alone.
