yea graphic cards are limited by power in their bios settings
they hit limit pretty soon unless you get a compatible nonofficial bios to remove that limit and let you risk destroying your card

I think limited by the bios and what Nvidia allows.

Can ask for clarification on the exposed vrm etc, I'm thinking of doing somthing similar but with an aio. Do you mean exposed with air flow from the pc case itself or exposed with a fan blowing directly on it like this Kraken?

you should build a mineral oil style pc that uses a special oil that can get really cold and not harm the pc and then run a ln2 loop through it or something crazy.

Couldn't you build some kind of enclosure and create a vacuum inside of it, then cool at well below ambient temps? I don't think condensation will form on the inside of your enclosure. If you insulate the outside with foam or spray foam insulation, it should prevent external condensation as well no? Can you try something crazy like that?

  • Mohamed Osama

Jay why didn't you increase the voltage and the clock since your max temp under load is 30c wtf dude

    • Mohamed Osama
      Mohamed Osama Před měsícem

Because it's probably locked in the bios and physically locked using voltage controller thingies on the card. Unlocking it will very likely break your card

I followed your steps, but I'm trying to use my PCB, with a PCB build I had build, and 3d print (I build) the frames and designs for my PC, I have put all the components and solder them, than I made a PCB that can make processor's, because amd and Intel are over priced and overrated, with a lot of configurations and making endless programs for my PCB.... I finally can conclude that I made a potato.

reading the title i was actually hoping to see you make the actual waterblock from a copper piece, not adapting a standard cpu one, cool video anyway, this brings back so many memories...
back in the day like 15 years ago i've seen a few people do it on a forum (they mainly constructed cpu block tho).
they used a drill press to excavate 2 pieces of copper, then put holes on one side for the tubes and then solder the 2 pieces.
the more professional ones used a thing called CNC, in italian it means numeric controlled machine, i don't know it's english name but it's a very expensive industrial machine that those people rented for a few hours to do the blocks, it's probably what the big company uses, but in the end the principle was the same as the drill press, the difference is the CNC is controlled by a computer, not your hands, so the work result is very polished.
i used to admire a lot those peoples, some went on to build relatively large italian watercooling companies like ybris-cooling.
they had custom waterblocks of various types, custom reservoirs, custom external waterstations you could build piece by piece with their configurator and they even did a lot of research for the people. like the one about the best way to put fans on your radiator that exstabilished you need an air conveyor to distance the fans a bit and sucking air through the radiator was more efficient than pushing air through it (obviously top results were achieved with fans on both sides that created a current).
unfortunately their shop only sells third party blocks and watercooling material in general now...
