I love that Dan has been co running the show for years now but still approaches everything with "idk man I just work here" energy
I mean technically he’s just Arin’s employee, he doesn’t own the Grumps business or anything
Oof. I got that feeling from Dan too in the beginning. But editing does a lot. Maybe There’s a reason Dan was in a bad mood. Late night forced terrible candy and improv comedy sounds like it gets old. But I don’t know. But I do love both these guys. Monopoly and the game show games are still some of my favorite videos many years later cuz they’re both so goofy and light-hearted. It’s been like 11 years. Maybe it’s time for another vacation for the performers and the writers can come up with some new ideas. I want to see more stuff outside like throwing stuff off high places and slo-mo explosions. Sounds stupid but I’m not joking, I think you guys gotta get out of the stinky cheese man and fart gas room and do some outdoorsy stuff.

I had this exact thought, like Dan you've been doing this show for years now.
The best thing about Arin eating something is when his expression changes mid-way through, like he just had a life-changing revelation.
My favorite was in the soap carving episode when he ate the soap. You could see the exact second when he realized "The bit was not worth it" 😆

Arin say that Skwinkles are like childbirth. The actual word is escuincle, and it literally means child. So there you have it, Arin's supernatural talent of being right by mistake
But he didn't say that about Skwinkles, it was about the Salsageri or however you pronounce it
@Pipe Dream Yep.. Skwinkles Salsagheti. The Salsagheti are one flavor of Skwinkles. The other ones are bigger and have spicy stuffing inside
The best part about these two is how one is so good at making you feel comfortable and the other is skilled at making you feel uncomfortable. It's a fun anxiety rollercoaster.

you guys have been making me laugh as a duo since i was 12, im 23 and still laugh at you guys all the time. Thanks for all the stuff for the last 11 years, has gotten me through breakups and illness in the family as a distraction when i really needed one and couldnt focus on anything anymore. im not even being mellow dramatic, idk if i need help or you guys are just THAT talented, but thanks guys. Arins improv talks got me into watching stand up and other forms of comedy and got me outta my shell a lil. And Dans a wise guy, his stories of his life are super informative. WRITE A BOOK PLS DAN.

I read this as "Candles" originally so I just automatically assumed those first five seconds was Arin slurping up a candle wick and did not question it.

It really goes to show We mexican people just like our spicy sour stuff on everything even on our candy
arin going "WOAH" at a rellerindo is exactly my reaction everytime i have one. That acidic tamarindo flavor is so overwhelming when you havent had it in a long time. Majority of mex candies are coated in harsh chile that you have to vigorously lick off to get to the sweet part of the candy. My favorites as a kid were the rellerindos, pulparindo, lucas pelucas n bomvasos, pina loca pops and mango pops.
Watching people eat Mexican candy when they are unprepared for it is always a joy.

The candy at 3:14 is Rellerindos and I buy them from my local Mexican grocery store. They're Tamarindo (Tamarind) flavored and they're very sweet and tart but then very sweet and spicy when you get into the centers of them. They're delicious and I recommend them.

Salsa-ghetti is just like childbirth in that you have to stick your noodle in and, after a little saucy activity, you end up getting no explanation from Arin as to why Salsa-ghetti is just like childbirth.
It's a reference to the episode where they swapped hairstyles, their hairdresser Lacy said that right after she had her first child, she never wanted to go through that again, but then later that feeling went away and then she wanted another.
I hope this is the comment that ends up in the Game Grump emails.
Another possible interpretation is that in childbirth you first go through an unpleasant experience (pain, a lot of it) but after that, the reward is a pleasant experience (a newborn).
