Add a chain tensioner and drive it on pavement and it could be pretty fun
Nice build.
I've tried making stuff from pallets. I found that under cyclic loads a lot less than this is going to see, the nails holding the pallet together work themselves loose.
So you need to reinforce the pallet with screws.
Also, you should add a foot brake. And probably a foot throttle too.
So, grass-mowners are fullfilling their cart-racing dreams as a substitute
16:43 haha bro this chain should have tensioner or at least the engine should be adjustable to
tension the chain. amazing project tho. saves time and money ! 💪
Flop flop flop flop
It could use some ground clearance as well as suspension. But I'm thoroughly impressed overall. Are you going to keep it and continue to modify it or just leave it as it is?
That's really a great idea.It can even be built without any welding. Thanks Doc./To je stvarno sjajna ideja. Može se čak izgraditi i bez zavarivanja. Hvala Doc.
Personally, I like the 'rat rod' look. I think it would look a lot better with holes drilled in the red lever and other metal and bars, rust and corrosion, and a little more 'patina' to it. But still, definitely a great idea! :)
I agree and the chain doesn't have a tensioner adjuster too.
Now that's what I'm talking about . Type in easy cheap way and you wont find it as simple as this... great job.. Strange thing is for the past 3 days I've been looking up how to make a go cart cheap with minimal basic tools . And this just came up . Lol ...HELL YA
I really love that, cools
First go-cart I built was 18 feet long, had 6 lawnmower wheels held with four 16 penny nails each wheel into scrap wood and two sets of 4 baby carriage metal frames and wheels. It took the entire neighborhood of kids to roll it the 1/4 mile to the only hill in the area. It was only when we actually got it on the hill that we realized the hill was 25 feet long and had to be started on slope or the bottom would hit. So, every kid loaded on we literally rolled 7 feet...once...then all the kids went home and I had to use the hammer I brought (for repairs) to hack it apart to get it home.
...just as a follow up, it took four trips to get it home and build four smaller carts out of it. I remember it as like a whole summer of building and racing, so it was probably two weeks 😃
@Karl with a K 😂🥺🥺
@Cindy Comerfored 1 mph is always safe.
Wow that sounds good glad you made it safe travels too
Karting out of a wooden pallet... 😀 I certainly didn't expect that. Thanks for the good cheer!
Ida mounted it on alittle bit of a longer pallet tho...
Hell yeah dude! Badass build!
I have some 8ft. pallets I've been thinking about building a go cart out of, but different from yours. Now I really want to!
I have 4 projects lined up first, then it's on!
Very nice, you could've also used the break handle as a pedal. Would've been less of a dangly string then!
You make go karts with everything and it’s really really cool 👍
It sounds exactly like what I would expect a motorized pallet to sound like.
Good job
this is my favorite build of yours. great job
Parabéns garoto muito sucesso pra você
i like the idea of the pallet frame, but I would mount foot pedals for the throttle and brake and give it a little more ground clearance by mounting it on motorcycle wheels.
That’s the fanciest pallet I’ve ever seen. The ones I work with would fall apart in no time
Bro,,, how long did it take you to make it???
🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
it looks like you had a lot of fun building it 😄👍
You can certainly drive flat out on this Go-kart !
I don't think this would pass a wka race inspection. Lol. Pretty good idea though. I have a lot of those left over parts from when my dad and I raced. Unfortunately he passed away back in 2017 and left me a bunch of inventory from when sold parts and methanol at our races.
Thanks for the awesome video.
Geniusz, po prostu geniusz!!!
it turned out to be a great go-kart, but I would have converted it into a lawn mower!) this thought dawned on me as soon as he drove out onto the grass. thanks a lot for the new ideas!
I was planning to do something like this but with a pedal go kart. I stead of the pedals attached to the wheels, there'd be an engine/electric motor.
im making one excactly the same as this for my channel with no credits
Chad
@Muito top amigo excelente e a imaginação fértil.👌👍🇵🇹
Love your go kart, Great job using a palette. 🙂🙃🙂🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Wirklich sehenswert .
Top 👍👍👍
Unbelievable Work and Equipment & Tools that you have m8 really good work that you do.
Awesome! Nice use of every tool offered to mankind
Zamilsi ideš do grada sa ovim 😂😂😂
Usput,pre moćan projekat Doktore 😁😁👌👌💪💪
Proszę ten gokart
Very nice work! Very low budget build. What size are the wheel hubs?
I meant what bolt pattern** I have VEVOR wheels and can’t find hubs for it I think it’s 50mm 3hole
That's awesome no big spend love it😀
رائع
Only thing I would've added is 2metal plates for your feet to rest on. That is a sick build 👏
Damn i wanna buy that; that is so amazing!
We used to make 2x6 x 5 ft wooden push carts, back in the 60s,your buddy pushed it with a broom handle! Great fun ,when he's pushing ,till it was your turn to push!
That is the way to recycle pallets good idea.
Kind regards from London UK.
Nice, What’s the size of the rims and tires that you used?
We got pallets where I work, so I'll have to get one and make this!😁👍🛠️
So just happened to have all the exact parts required at home :-)
Helps to have 3/4 of a go-kart to start with lol.
Let's take this master to a much higher level, because he's crazy🤪😍
What is the name of those things you used to hold the axle
When you're done you can use a pallet Jack to haul it around or pick it up with a forklift
I'd be more impressed if you made a pallet out of a go cart.
Wow that’s awesome great job.
Is the traction on one wheel, left or right? or is there a difference?
Look at the build video, it shows One straight shaft, in which both the back turn, because its one shaft...
A few steel banding straps around that pallet would make it all stay held together, well. ✅
That chain looks awefully dangerous, would have put a guard on it
Boa tarde!!
Cool. Hope it turns up as an extra in Mario Kart
where do you get all the parts from ??
Super videi, volim tvoj rad ❤️🙌👋👋🔥👏👏
Amen and always will be safe and safety and safely and coffee ☕
It’s meant for a flat surface cuz it has no suspension, build a bar stool with motor
Great idea and great job
those must be easy to stack in the warehouse.
He’s forgot one vital thing !!!!
Some green ‘one coat’ fence care 🤣
Excellent job !!!!!
That's a really good dea. It'll give that machine a longer life span.
8:44 Turning the wheel shouldn't be shifting the gears!
SUPER IDEA,,,GREAT WORK
Yeah all the parts I need happen to be all in this one bin...😁
palettes usually get wasted so its nice seeing them get recycled
Best build I have ever seen.
Excellent experience 👏 👌 👍
Wish I had a shop to work like that
lots of metalworking tools and skils needed for this "pallete" go-kart
That chain looks awefully dangerous, would have put a guard on it
When he was riding across the grass I kept expecting to see grass flying out the side/back lol
comunque ottimo lavoro!! 👍🏻💪🏻
cool car, 😀and in your next video , we want see a 🪓🔩"E-Pal.- cart- camper" 🪚🪛🔨
Fantastic ! the first racing pallet on the planet😂😂😂
Cool! What are the estimated Costs to make one of these ?
You also need the skills to make it ofcourse
Well you managed to mess that up on the first try. One-dimensional one board suspension when you got a whole other side of the pellet not being utilized. That only that dragon deadweight.
those steering rods not gonna last long, too flimsey
I must have missed something, but what keeps the rear axle from sliding back and forth?
My guess would be Allen headed grub screws . * was wondering why he didn't use that All thread bar to clamp the axles through the top and bottom planks , boxing it would make the axle less likely to break or loosen the boards over time .,
Easy to put away if you got a forklift
Love the video work brilliant
Needs bigger wheels and a new testride
A great job my friend. Best of luck & success always👍👍
Fantástico, Fantástico, felicitaciones
nice and cool job !
