I was watching Jeffery's stream the other day (raided from watching Hikaru stream) when he played a 10 game blitz run with SinisterMagnus. jeffrey lost like 7.5 - 2.5 or something but jeffery used his personal contacts trying to figure out who it was. Jeffrey was amazed how good SM was the whole time. The only thing he was fairly sure of is that it was not Magnus himself. Mostly had to do with the fact that jeffery's contact knew where he was at the time and was not playing chess. Not solid proof I guess but interesting though..

I feel like no matter how lopsided the game may seem at times, if there are enough pieces on the board, there is an equally devastating series of moves on the other side of the board, the problem is just to find them. I think they are usually called brilliancies ? To me they are just turning the position around at the best time. Like in this game , the pieces and placement were favoring Keymer, Magnus understood this and traded off the main pieces linked to his attack and turned the board into one that favored the placement of his pieces. Of course it helps to have a thorough understanding of pawn structures and the optimum ways to use minor pieces together ie bishop +rook or knight +rook. I am going to name my next child Magnets Gnarlson. just because I can!
I think someone should make an analysis of SinisterMagnus games to see if he truly did cheat by comparing his plays to chess engine accuracy. Like how people did for Hans.
No sound for commentary is fine. I personally use them for playing, but in this scenario I think no sound is best. Many others do commentary with no sound.
