I’ve read that the scent gland at the base of the tail is the most personal for cats and the least likely to get clouded by a group scent or outside smells so it’s the best way to recognize a familiar cat! I bet mama Tali does recognize their smells and why she checked their butts so carefully 😂
@Gert Pacu why would you not want her fixed? If you already have too many feral cats running around and they're inbreeding that should definitely be stopped. The world doesn't need more stray cats dying in the streets.
@Gert Pacu Calico and tortie cats can have tabby markings. It's not weird at all.And orange tabby isn't 99% male, it's more like 3-1 male to female.
@rm p There is no way to "break it gently" to this mom who just got three kittens back. I don't know how invested in the missing three the mother was. She took and hid only one kitten, after all. She's also somewhat feral in her reactions. But the Kitten Lady will handle it all perfectly, as usual.
@bary merry there's more going on in my cats brain then yours, clearly.
@Gert Pacu what's your 2nd best story?
When mama went into the box, you said she wanted time alone....in my experience, she was actually wanting to nurse! She expected everyone to follow her. It's super adorable that mama was so eager to bond with all her babies!
I totally agree with you. in my eyes it looked like mama cat was thinking, if they are mine and have been away for so long they must be hungry. And then realising why they weren't hungry she needed a minute to think. At least that's my take on it if anyone was wondering :)
🆙Thanks for watching 🔝 message right away I have something for youTelegram👈
I'm so glad that mama turned out to be a sweet cat, it makes it so much easier for you to help her and to reintroduce her kittens to her. This is such a sweet chapter to their story.
“I’m so glad that mama turned out to be a sweet cat, it makes it so much easier for you to help her and to reintroduce her kittens to her.” This is such a sweet chapter to their story.
@Mr Do thank you for helping mom & babies.
@Beware the Lily of the Valley , I agree, she probably was an abandoned cat. Most ferals take a long time to get comfortable with humans.
IT LOOKS LIKE THE MOMMY REALLY LIKES AND LOVES HER LITTLE KITTENS THE MOMMY CAT REALLY CARES FOR HER LITTLE KITTENS THOSE ARE HER LITTLE KIDS JUST LIKE WHEN HUMAN BEING PEOPLE HAVE LITTLE KIDS THERE LITTLE KIDS AND THEN THEY GROW UP TO BE ADULT PEOPLE JUST LIKE US
I have two cats and they have both accidentally ordered things from Amazon. Trying to explain the situation to customer service can be interesting.
I'm so so glad the momma got reunited with her three babies. That's the best thing ever. She recognized them by smell.I think she is very relieved to see her three other kittens and I'm sure she was very relieved that they weren't lost at all.I love these kinds of reunions of mommas and their kittens.
I'm not crying... YOU'RE crying! 😭She 100% recognized them and started grooming right away. My heart is so full knowing they're all together again, and Mama seems adoptable too!! Next stop, FUREVER HOMES! 😻
Jesus Christ, man
@Ariel Waters No, it's pretty much just you. Some people say she recognized them but that's just because she went to check them out quickly when she heard them making noise. She licked one on the paw 3 times and that was it for grooming. It was just sniffing butts, then going to lay by herself.
@Jesus Maybe we didn't watch the same video! Everyone else seems to agree, that's recognition.
Did we watch the same video? The mom was suspicious the whole time and didn't do anything but sniff their butts.
No you’re crying…😢
Momma’s face was like, wait I only had one munchkin, now 4! 😮 too much to process 😂. So happy they are all together as a family❤
All hail the triangle tail! They’re adorable together! Dal looks like Mom, Aamli looks like Mom with some splotches, Aila is classic black tortie and Momo wears a tux. It’s like a gradient from stripey to black. We definitely need more videos featuring this family. I really hope that everyone finds wonderful homes, especially Thali. She deserves a life of luxury.
Hello 👋 how’re you doing?
I love that mama didn't hesitate, like she knew who they were as soon as she saw them. Also, I had to laugh at the cute chair cuddle puddle lasting all of about five seconds before someone decided to move XD
@Julia McLane Her just laying is not normal, she would have groomed and marked them.
It took the mom a few minutes until she knew her they were.
@KR P It is not that she is not cool 😎 with the situation. She does now what do with the information. 6:03
Cat moms cat be traumatized from losing their kittens too soon. It probably helped that she still had one left, but the ones that are good moms don't lose that caring instinct so quickly.
Actually no, that cat is not cool with the situation. She's still very maternal so she will not be quick to reject them but she is definitely treating them differently from how she would be treating them; if they were never apart.AFAIK It's pretty normal for cats to have altered relationships after spending time apart, hopefully she accepts them and they form a new parent-kitten relationship.
I was having a very rough morning after being woken up from only getting 4 hours of rest. This really made my day at LOT better! Thank you for sharing such sweetie pies
Aww...made my day. I'm thinking that went better than expected. Momma seemed to know right away that these were special babies. And then to see the singleton have new playmates was awesome!
I love that, even though mama is confused, she’s still sweet as pie and just trying to figure out what these babies are doing here and if she’s supposed to do something for them 😅❤
I got the impression she was saying "How did they get so big???"
I love the shot of mama on top of her den. She already has that overwhelmed mom look in her eyes like, "Omg, how did I end up with all these kids?!" 😂😂😂
@Helen Hunter -- There's definitely a right and wrong way to emotionally relate to other animals. Certain behaviors/reactions specific to a particular animal should always be learned and considered so you don't misunderstand the creature you're coexisting with. Being overwhelmed by the introduction of a bunch of kids who you may or may not recognize; pretty universally relatable. 🤪
heh, actually she looks happy they're keeping each other busy! If you look at 2:00 you can see the real anxious look, her pupils are completely blown.
🤣 That's what I thought too!
@Helen Hunter Animals have emotions and are capable of complex thought. (We literally have scientific proof of it now.) The more we know about them, the more disrespectful it becomes to set ourselves apart from them. Anyone who works with animals knows that they need a break from their kids sometimes, just as we do. As Hannah said, Thali needs a little time to process her new reality of having 4 kids crawling all over her instead of just one.
Please stop attributing conventional human thoughts to animals. Respect them.
What an absolutely precious little family, it's so cute how each kitten has their own unique pattern. I'll never be able to get over the little kitten dorito ears 🥰
So happy that you were able to reunite the family! As cute as they are, full circle is an amazing way to save lives and keep cats out of shelters and dangerous situations! Thank you for your continued dedication to helping these animals! As a foster kitten parent myself, I can definitely say it's needed!
I'm crying because of the babies all playing together.
Same. Tears of joy 🥲
Hello how are you doing?
I think she recognizes them. The whole but sniffing is scent checking of where have you been?! Its so much better developmentally for them to have mom and siblings . They learn a lot more social cues that is for sure. They all looked super happy!
🔝Hit me up 📥thank you for watching ♥️
I love at the end when Omli is at momma's belly saying, "Yay! Dinner!" & the other kittens are saying, "Yay! Pillow!" So sweet.
Such a precious moment and I totally cried happy tears watching this sweet reunion. So happy all are together again. Momma seems like such a sweetheart. Thanks for all of the wonderful work YOU and the AMAZING TEAM @orphankittenclub do to make happy endings like this possible for so many beautiful cats and kittens. It's people like you that make this world a better place.Hugs to all!
Hello Casey how are you doing today
I need many more minutes of this gorgeousness. So sweet.
Happy endings don't always happen in rescue in situations like this, but when a story like theirs takes place it is so beautifully wholesome! Thank you for sharing it with us!
😭❤️ what a sweet family! I was so happy to see them all snuggling up to mom at the end!
Now I'm crying... What a sweet moment! So happy to see them together again! Thank you, Hannah! ♥️♥️♥️
Yes Hannah this is what taking care of little ones in life is all about. Watch it three times thank you very much
This made my day! Thanks Kitten Lady!
This is the kind of thing that makes me happy
What a happy reunion! Beautiful mother and the most gorgeous kittens! They will have no trouble finding homes.
OMG!! They're all soooAdorable 🥰 I'm so glad they're all together now!Great video ❤️ momma is such a good momma and so sweet
🔝Hit me up 📥thank you for watching 💝.
what a heart melting video ❤❤❤
Thank you so so much for everything you do for these cute little angels 🙋🏼♀️💕😻💕🙋🏼♀️
With the massive size difference and the confused reaction of the mama, I can't help wondering if they really are from the same litter to begin with? Regardless of whether that's true or not, it's lovely to see them all start to bond.
How wonderful. What a beautiful Momma and kittens
Such a pleasure to see. Thank you for your time and efforts.
🔝Hit me up 📥thank you for watching 💝
Tali is just a big sweetheart my goodness! She and her babies are gonna be amazing pets for some folks.
Beautiful!!! I'm so glad she's reunited with her 3 babies!!!!!
Thank you kitten lady , people like you make this world tolerable
All the momma's you rescue ( even the spicy ones) seem to be relieved to have a safe place to raise their baby(s). So happy the family got reunited. Momma can take a break now that all her kids are together to play with.
Hello Corey how are you doing today
What a beautiful moment to see them reunited despite all the uncertainty. Warm up my heart 😍💖💖👍
That was so freaking adorable! Thank you for sharing. I might have to come back and watch this video when I have a bad day cause I’m sure it would make it all better ❤️
Thank you for sharing this loving reunion with us. Made my heart melt. ❤️😻😻😻😻😻❤️

This is the sweetest video ever! Oh my heart 😢❤
Love how Mama cat is Smiling. My cat Smiles too.
Such a tearful reunion! All kittens including Mama are back together! ❤️Mama remembered her babies! That was priceless!
Tali seems to be taking really well to being inside!
If I recall correctly I think she was someone's pet, or at least a friendly socialised stray that the lady who rescued her babies was looking after. :)
It looks like she's been inside before. I'm so glad she's friendly. I have a single kitten but I have to scoop her out with big spoons to weigh her. Her mom is pretty fierce.
Such a beautiful reunion!
Hello Sondra how are you doing today
Thank you for saving these sweet, beautiful babies. Thank you ❤
I think my heart just exploded 🙏🏻🕊🐾🌸♥️
Aw that's so awesome! Mama cat literally has a smile on her face
my cat past away in may was 17 years old and seeing this is just so cute
That look on mama cat's face was price less. Looking at those 4 kitties and thinking "One wasn't hard enough and now I have 3 more?"LOL Love how she took them back in so quickly. Nothing is more precious than those kitty reunions. What a happy family. I wish them all the best.
For the beautiful soul in this video, and to all of you're fellow peers, thank you for what you do. I hope you continue to have success, in everything you do. Aloha
This reminds me of when my mother's Siamese Lucy had six adorable black kittens. The first to be adopted was a little boy named Houdini, because he always would get out of the box and explore. He managed to climb up the exterior dryer vent, and get into the back of the dryer mechanism, injuring himself. He then went directly to the Vet, where he was treated, and everybody fell in love with him.The Vet asked to adopt him, and took him home. Unfortunately the Vet's wife had an allergic reaction, so Houdini came back home.Instead of having a loving welcome, Siamese Lucy rejected Houdini with a threatening hiss. Apparently Houdini had picked up some strange odors from the Vet's office and home, so Lucy did not recognize him.I took Houdini into my arms and carried him to another room, where I held and petted him for hours. When Lucy saw him again, with my re-introduction, she sniffed him thoroughly, then started grooming him.Apparently, I had shared enough of my scent with Houdini when I was holding and petting him, so Lucy accepted Houdini as one of her own family.Houdini was adopted, I seem to recall by one of the Vet's assistants, who could not forget that courageous and adventurous kitten. All of Lucy's six adorable black kittens found loving homes. I often wonder what their lives were like after they left.
Great work! Keep it up. This world needs as much of this kind of love as it can get right now.
I always love your commentary ❤️
I think you and I would get along very well!!! I’m such a kitty nerd and have 7 and work as a veterinary assistant and I’m constantly trying to bring my patients home!! Lmao hahahaha😂They call me the “keeper of the cats.” Lol
Such a beautiful mama and her beautiful babies.😊
Wow! This is sooo wholesome to watch😍
Que felinos más hermosos 😍🙏🏻💞🥰
This was so beautiful. Thank you.
How wonderful! Such a sweet family.
Thank you for re-uniting this beautiful family. Miracles sometimes happen.
I've fostered many mama cats with babies. I love this
So glad that the family is back together again.
Thank you for giving these cat family a happy ending 🐈😺 💕
Heartwarming. Glad they got reunited. Happy ending, much love.
A tortoise, tabby and tuxedo, all beautiful babies! Glad they were able to get reunited.❤
This is so pure ❤️❤️
Aww so cute 🥰 … so glad they all were reunited ❤❤❤
My hear just melted. Nicest thing I’ve scene all month!
It did my heart good to see the little tortie snuggled up asleep next to mommy at the end.
Aamli is so cute the way she flops and rolls around everywhere 💙
I’m not crying. Honesty. What a beautiful reunion. Mummy Thali wants a time out
They are all so adorable bless your heart it must be a mile wide and that smokey calico sets my heart on fire!
Amazing, she knew her kittens and you could sense Mom cat's elation as she realised who they were, she seems to love the little black and white tux. Animals do have feelings very similar to ours. My little tortie knows exactly how to bat her lashes at me to get me to feed her!♥️😸
Look at the size difference between the kitten raised outside by mom, and her sister raised by the Kitten Lady!Even without competition for the milkbar, it looks as if mom hasn't been able to give her as much nourishment from her own hunting as they can get in a good home.
@suha I think she meant the ones raised by mama in the comfort of a home though. Not the ones raised by mama outside with no medical care.
@Terry Lee I wasn’t sure if Amali was smaller because she was raised in the harsh outside world or if she was genetically smaller. I don’t really think it matters though. The family is reunited in a safe environment and that’s good for all the kittens
Amli may have been the runt so just appears smaller. They are all healthy and happy which is the main thing. :)
@Amber Carruthers there's nothing wrong with her, she's replying to dottcom about their rude reply.
@Jenny X Because the mama-fed kitten is in her own environment. They took the three other kittens and put them in a new room. that is why they are unsure and unsteady of their surroundings.
I can't even--- the way she looked at you for confirmation....
What a wonderful family 🥰😸
This mother cat knows deep in her soul what she owes to her rescuers. She will never forget it.
Lol mama kitty looking at the camera like “this morning I had 1 baby and now I have 4?!” So happy the reunion went well!
Such a sweet reunion. I have a few questions . How long did it take the mama to warm up? Amali is still at the milk bar , how about the siblings are they still being bottle fed or have they weened?
What a gorgeous mama cat! So glad she is reunited with her babies💕
It's so great to see Momma reunited with her kittens!!! Happy family!!!!! Awesome!!!! ❤️❤️❤️😻😻😻😻
Mamma looks like my angel. I had her spade in the first year. She is a joy to my life.
That shot of all the sibs together on the couch! I just can't! 😭
aw i had to let my fur baby go to sleep forever just 2 weeks ago and ive never cried so much in my life! mamma cat is the double of my Tilly even got the same squeaky meow lol if i were in America would definately try adopt mamma. glad mamma got her babies back x
Well the floodgates just opened and I am in my office crying while I watch this. 😭 Happiest tears but omg! Mama knows her babies and they know her too. Full circle in action. It is awesome to see your philosophy on kitten rescue and cat welfare be witness in this sweet reunion. I will be watching this several times...just to take it all in. When Mama Thali and Aamli were being searched for, I hoped everyday that they would be found. Even as the days went by...I never lost hope. And here they are. It was better than anything I could imagine. 🥺 Thank you Hannah for sharing this. ❤
Hello Caroline how are you doing today
😢😻🙏Much love to mama and baby kitties. Made me cry. This is the best outcome!
This is so sweet❤
When I saw your Instagram post about them being reunited I thought this video was going to take a much longer time to put together! You work like the wind… and what a sweet sweet mama.
Hello Cecilia how are you doing today
That's so sweet. My mama cat was generally soft on kittens. There were times when she'll suddenly go out and come back with a crying kitten from the neighbor. Haha.
This is so touching! She's giving them the deep smell! Yep they're mine she says❤️
Aww this made me cry happy tears 🥲
No matter the living soul, the mama will always be the mama. I would keep them all.
If Hannah kept them all, she wouldn’t have the space to keep fostering more cats like them! Saying goodbye means they can keep saving lives 😊
The happiest of reunion stories!! 😻😻😻😻😻
A reuniting experience that leaves a good feeling.
Mama really reminds me of my first cat, Tigresse (French word, the female tiger). She was a great mama cat (spay & neuter wasn't very common back then) and so loving towards me too. She waited for me in the small woods I had to walk through every day to come back home from school and walked me back home. I can still hear the meow she made in greeting to me.
@David Macleod She learned all by herself how to jump on my shoulders, we went on adventures in the woods together. I always felt very safe with her.
what's your 2nd best story?
They're all so adorable. 😻 The mom is like "I was used to having only 1 child. Now I have 4. What's going on?" Are you going to adopt out the mom or do TNR? She seems quite friendly.
mama cat is adoptable! she’s actually up for it rn 🥺 paired w the lil tabby boy if all goes well
Yes Mama knows her babies❤ they know exactly what’s going on!!Cats scents are just so amazing! She went to their bum because kittens moms stimulate their kittens to go pee and poo by licking their bums. She was smelling their “pheromones”, probably couldn’t believe it was her babies. But she knew❤ they all know what’s happening. They’re so intelligent❤That’s why when your cats come up to you & put their bum in your face, they see you as mom!! So congrats! They love you!! They’d go up to mom when lil kitten, put bum in moms face & mom would stimulate them to go. ❤
Mother cat was genuinely happy. You can tell she's thankful to those people.
The end you could tell theyre happy to be with their family again.
Very heartwarming and I'm a cat lover myself. ✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱
