Bro I swear I seen that coming when manny got slumped, he was lunging in aimlessly with the straight punches anybody who knows what thier doing is gonna step off the line and throw the right.. all respect to manny tho he’s a legend EVERYBODY makes mistakes
Yep. That continual attempt to pressure Marquez left him vulnerable at that moment. Somehow I felt Marquez was more focused on landing power as Manny was sort of out of control.
@D.Raven Nope, now most of these fight figures are dead, mentally destroyed, and broke/down! It's slightly safer now, but I don't need someone to DIE to be entertained 🙃!
Are u really using foot work as a point to say its youre favourite martial arts😂 this is probably the number 1 martial arts that uses their feet the lease 😂
Thank you so much for putting the old fights in the best quality possible. I’ve always had the upmost respect for the older generations, but just being honest, seeing them in bad quality film makes it hard to truly appreciate them as much as they should be. It seriously makes my day to see this. Historical boxing matches deserve more preservation
i remember watching the manny and marquez fight the night they fought, when he hit him and he fell flat like that i instantly thought "damn is he alive" that was one of the meanest knockouts ever
Guys, Here is The True Savior YaH The Heavenly FATHER HIMSELF was Who they Crucified/Pierced for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF” From the Ancient Semitic: "Yad He Vav He" is what Moshe (Moses) wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3) Ancient Semitic Direct Translation Yad - "Behold The Hand" He - "Behold the Breath" Vav - "Behold The NAIL"

The first fight when Pacquiao knocked down JMM three times and broke his nose, all in the first round. I was thinking, why is this guy not KO'd, why does he keep pushing forward when others couldn't recover? That's pure courage and willpower. Three fights later he KO'd Pacquiao. What an amazing turn of events.
I always respect fighters (Ali and Hearns, for example) that don't add an extra vicious blow against a helpless opponent going down. Takes incredible discipline, in the heat of the moment with adrenaline flowing, to show such restraint, grace, mercy and sportsmanship.
Placement is more important than power. When a boxer is rocked his opponent will normally have a rush of blood and try for the knockout. In doing so the opponent will become less guarded in his approach, thereby opening himself up. All it takes is one accurate punch from the rocked boxer and it's lights out.
@Sickest-NoSCOPEZandWEED-420 bro soldiers arent stupid have you ever heard of a military academy? the people that get into those do it for personal achievement and then serve for monetary reward as well.. so i dont understand your point. also its pretty disrespectful to assume that all soldiers are dumb/unintelligent. i hope you have more respect for the people that put their lives on the line for OUR comfort while you get to sit back and watch men fight on your computer
@gaymerboy80 athletes take risks for personal achievement and monetary reward. Soldiers take risks for... their government. If you join the military you likely don't have much intelligence, or you're dumb enough to believe that your government cares about your life.
Everyone talks about “Ali outside the ring” but make no mistake about it, he was a genius in the ring. He was heads and shoulders above anyone, and the ONE fighter you did not want to bet against. Know this.
Knockouts are definitely the best part of boxing. No question. But when we see a permanent injury or a death, it really reminds us that we find joy in seeing other potentially die. That’s why I’ll always respect any fighter who steps in there willing to take that risk. They risk their lives for our entertainment.
@Ghost probably because you're not a casual. You have to ask yourself, would you rather see a fight thats: 12 rounds full of amazing combos, head movement, foot movement and boxing skill that goes to the cards, or a 30 second first round knockout that happens with the first punch landed - true boxing fans will prefer the first, casuals prefer the second.
It's not that, but the stuff that causes adrenaline rushes is the stuff we consider as fun in this human life and those activities can be very deadly and cause death
It’s amazing how back then - everyone of the media companies filming the fights really wanted to see incredible knockouts. Like the entire fights monetary value is dependent on exposure - so back then it was worse for a ref to call it too early and potentially ruin a great knockout from happening , instead of calling a fight and having it end in a boring way, and then that ref will never get hired again. Nowadays it’s different luckily
That Manny v JMM fight. They were always great fights. I was ready for JMM to finally concede in this last bout to the better fighter and then boom from nowhere JMM lands one whilst he was in trouble for most of the fight. Comebacks were made!
I don't know how many "Oowws" I said in this whole video but I had a great time watching this. I'm Mexican so I felt honored that the first KO was from Marquez vs Pacquiao.
Just one excellent quality video after another from TRB. Bravo and thanks. Great content and even the details like consistent audio volume from multiple clips. IMO the best martial arts channel on YT.
The one 30 mins in when they're complaining about the ref stopping it when the guy was literally being bounced in and out of the shadow realm. 😂 Absolutely mental.
I do not recall Manny KO Juan in any fight so not sure why there is laughing with tears. He knock him down multiple times but the warrior Juan got up and made it to the end of the fight/s and has a record of 2 loses, 1 Draw and 1 win by KO against Manny. There is nothing wrong with Manny getting KO'd by a guy he fought 4 times that know all his moves. Manny went for the money a just made a mistake. He is still a legend regardless so no need to try and put down another legend in JMM.
14:20 Dude gets caught with a flush left hook and is laid out. Barely gets up at the 10 count and basically falls back into the ropes when he makes it to his feet , how in the world was this not stopped. Dude didn’t even put his hands up for the final shot he was so out of it.
People complain about early stoppages. I hope this video serves them well to understand why they try to protect their fighters a little more now. No man leaves the ring the same after this type of punishment. We all cry “early stoppage” but forget about the damages endured once they’ve retired.
@Surgical Boxing they certainly shouldn't be penalized for hitting too hard or actually trying to play defense as is the case now. It's funny because boxing is actually a very unique sport in which the participant can legitimately quit at any time without it being considered weird. In fact, if they want to quit but are afraid of criticism, they can back up against the ropes, take a shot to their guard, then fall down or take a knee for 10 seconds and the fight is over. This is not to mention the fact that they have a designated employee watching the fight who can end it any time on behalf of the fighter. It's not even a question of "well you chose to do this with your life you chose to be in there." It's literally a question of, you can quit at any second for any or no reason.
@B R You're just offering a false dilemma. Nobody is asking for pillow fights. Why not after a knockdown give the boxer a 60 second count to get up and recover.
It's boxing, it's not supposed to be safe. People have always understood this, the fighters themselves most of all. If it's a question of safety then put them in body armor and have them pillow fight.
It's crazy watching the old highlights. Guys getting knocked down six or more times. Once someone has taken that punishment it's very unlikely they'll get up and win. I don't mind the earlier stoppages nowadays. There's no reason to continue a one-sided beating.
Still say that Ward/Gatti fight (1st) completely changed the view of the sport, where before was about race, but after brought it back to the honor and respect the sport across the board.
go back and count each time fury took an 14 count i mean a ten count! its just facts not a lie or a slander, he still had ability to get up and come back to win but if he would have been counted out in any other venue not in the uk!
Some of these older fights make me thankful that refereeing has come as far as it has. Mills Lane could have been charged with attempted murder for sending Bob Foster back out there against Ali.
The first fight with Ali shows the difference between the way refs call the match today. That fight should have been over after the 3rd knockout in the same round. I know there wasn't a 3 knockdown rule but refs back then didn't care about safety!
damn this brings back so many memories look how skinny james toney was back then looks like he went from light weight to heavy! lmao!! hes a fn beast though! a def legend!
20:35 off that referee for not stepping in earlier. Morrison is out on his feet. Those unnecessary punches undoubtedly did severe brain damage to poor ole' Tommy. RIP to The Duke.
Ali had to knock the same guy down like 5 time in 20 seconds. The guy had no balance & at one point was hugging onto Ali leg. The fight was beyond over but the referee kept the fight going n should of been fired.
tommy morrisons transformation from a boxer to a body builder on the juice rip! pacman look at his first fight picture he was like 97lbs no muscle and then look at him today you would never believe that is the same damn person in a million years!
Some of these fights would never go one today. Though I liked the video that said recorded earlier. I would hope so. The Weaver & Tate fight was epic. Weaver was losing the fight, then in the 15th rd with seconds to go he knocked Tate out.
They should have a senior category. 35 to 45. Paquiou v Mayweather. Kalicho v Lewis.(I know it's misspelled) Old timers we want to see fight but don't want to see hurt. Great prelim for a big fight. 12 ounce gloves. 6 rounders.
Anyone else find it interesting that Antonio Margaritto didn’t know his opponent out until the 7th and they said “he finally broke him down” Margaritto was loading his gloves with plaster his whole career. Shameful
@corey thomas Mayweather is black so that pretty much sums that up. He is the champion of the black community never look to get admiration from other races especially when it comes to boxing it’s not happening. We know mayweather is TBE that’s all that matters.
@corey thomas Manny should won 3x on Marquez tho and Manny had knockout every elite aswell. If talk legacy? Get some homework Study history of his boxing ppl are tired explaining everything with y'all idiots
People underestimate the danger of those back of the head punches.
@Rapperastoned Revisionist bs. 💩
Fury was doing it to wilder n without padding n his gloves doctor have a medical statement saying wider dent n his head was cause by blunt object
@Filip Cordas George Foreman's ok.
@Sickest-NoSCOPEZandWEED-420 You look like a person that knows things
@Filip Cordas you need to accept that the people responding to you know more than you, stop acting like an ignorant child.
Bro I swear I seen that coming when manny got slumped, he was lunging in aimlessly with the straight punches anybody who knows what thier doing is gonna step off the line and throw the right.. all respect to manny tho he’s a legend EVERYBODY makes mistakes
@myklmusic yeah and he was trying to find the timing, timing beats speed
@panuncio He Hernandez what?
Yep. That continual attempt to pressure Marquez left him vulnerable at that moment. Somehow I felt Marquez was more focused on landing power as Manny was sort of out of control.
sanzum
I never seen Manny Packyo get slumped like that before
*PACQUIAO
@Aquarius lucky punch
He fuck Pacquiao ass up lol
@Kai Rau oh right, so how many pro fights have you had? Gtfoh internet mong
marquez was on the sauce forsure
I knew pac was going down in the first clip when he started throwing alll those crazy punches
he was winning, got careless
It's crazy how long they used to let the fights go on for after multiple knock downs
Still do
That's how alot of them got messed up in their head sadly
Your knocked down not out
I feel like that's normal, it's how pussified the sport has become that's not normal
@D.Raven Nope, now most of these fight figures are dead, mentally destroyed, and broke/down! It's slightly safer now, but I don't need someone to DIE to be entertained 🙃!
Did nobody see the chair hit that cop😂😂
Lmmfao
i cant work out where it came from lol it looks like it came from the ring!
@TheLo 31:17
Looooooooool pls drop time stamp
Thought I was watching Smackdown vs Raw for a moment😂
Wtf was the ref doing in the Mercer v Morrison fight? That should've been stopped about 4 punches before it was.
The most beautiful Martial Art for me! The punches the footwork
Are u really using foot work as a point to say its youre favourite martial arts😂 this is probably the number 1 martial arts that uses their feet the lease 😂
Thank you so much for putting the old fights in the best quality possible. Penith.
i remember watching the manny and marquez fight the night they fought, when he hit him and he fell flat like that i instantly thought "damn is he alive" that was one of the meanest knockouts ever
@Darrell Moore man gon head on wit that.
Guys, Here is The True Savior
YaH The Heavenly FATHER HIMSELF was Who they Crucified/Pierced for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF”
From the Ancient Semitic:
"Yad He Vav He" is what Moshe (Moses) wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3)
Ancient Semitic Direct Translation
Yad - "Behold The Hand"
He - "Behold the Breath"
Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
that was the first boxing fight i’ve ever seen when i was a kid. i remember everyone in my cousins house screaming and shouting with excitement (because we’re mexican and we wanted márquez to win) and i was just lost for words
I was yelling "he killed him" he was not moving 😳
@Omni lmao wow i can see that happening .
@PurpleLightning6was9 for the check ;)
The judges gave him a perfect 10.very good posture and form 🤣😁
Paqman did take a dive that fight!, my a nose dive
He had no other choice via running into a right hand lights out.
@BizarreSmallville He sure did, his brain had the power button pressed.
I always respect fighters (Ali and Hearns, for example) that don't add an extra vicious blow against a helpless opponent going down. Takes incredible discipline, in the heat of the moment with adrenaline flowing, to show such restraint, grace, mercy and sportsmanship.
Never understood how rocked fighters still are able to throw punches and knock their opponent out
You never played a ufc game?
its all muscle memory at that point
Very simple. There’s a dragon in each of us.And it chooses when to come out
Placement is more important than power.
When a boxer is rocked his opponent will normally have a rush of blood and try for the knockout.
In doing so the opponent will become less guarded in his approach, thereby opening himself up.
All it takes is one accurate punch from the rocked boxer and it's lights out.
These men risked their lives to feed their families and for their legacies. Respect, respect, respect.

@LTN OrBiit soldiers don't risk their lives? What are you smoking?
Yep
@Ghost many western armies attack other countries. they are puppy governments
Ali's punch ddn.t seem to connect don.t know who he was fighting but that knock down looked like a delayed reaction
The guy’s name is Bob Foster
I think in that fight he was mad at the ref for not stopping the fight because he didn't want to hurt the other guy
Everyone talks about “Ali outside the ring” but make no mistake about it, he was a genius in the ring. He was heads and shoulders above anyone, and the ONE fighter you did not want to bet against. Know this.
I was thinking Manny was going to knock the other guy out at any second. The crowd in the front rows apparently did too. Total shock.
The improvement in caring for downed fighters safety is beyond belief! So many of the old fights would have been stopped so much quicker nowadays!
Yes 🥰 finally you got him awsome 💖....
Am I the only one that thinks the thumbnail of this video looks like Will Smith knocked out? Lol
Knockouts are definitely the best part of boxing. No question. But when we see a permanent injury or a death, it really reminds us that we find joy in seeing other potentially die. @Ghost its the best
Knockouts aren’t my favorite part of boxing at all
Thank u couldn’t have said it better
It's not that, but the stuff that causes adrenaline rushes is the stuff we consider as fun in this human life and those activities can be very deadly and cause death
That Paq knockout will be forever legendary.
Only took him four fights to do it. If there was a 3 knockdown rule in the first fight Marquez would be a foot note.
41:20 !!! Even the cameraman felt that! 😂💤
Some of the refereeing in these matches is nothing short of disgusting. Most of these should have been stopped well before the knockout came.
13:32 damn…
Hearns knocking out Duran is still the craziest sounding punch I've ever heard.
That no 3 knock down rule robbed Muhammad Ali of so many early stoppages that would’ve taken so much toll off his body
The Hawk Jackson by himself could have had a highlight this long… That man was vicious
Ali was deceptively powerful. He hit harder than most thought.
That Tommy Morrison ko was insane!!🤯
That Pac-Man ko is still crazy !
Pac-Man very unfortunate that time, if that K.O didn't happen ref would stop the match on next round cuz marquez already had a broken jaw
That Marquez punch landed square between the eyes, such a beautiful knockout.
29:28 That slingshot from the ref was perfect
31:14 Who tf threw a steel chair, that cop got fucked up worse than the boxer
It wasn't just the knockouts, it was the fight s leading up to the knockouts as well. Awesome, great bedtime video. Thanks 😁👍
Mills Lane should have stopped that fight at 14:29. That was one extra that the guy really did not need.
0:52 Pacquio getting knocked out looked brutal! Entire body just quickly fell to the canvas and he didn't move at all afterward. Wow!
9:03 might be the most elite level I’ve seen , he really broke him down
It was only a matter of time before Manny got rocked. Dude was just jumping in with his head.
These knockouts were crazy evolution of boxing throughout the years
25:55 Oh. My. God.
16:48 is the most brutal knockout I’ve ever scene
@Smoove J Maybe by judge?
Have you seen Morrison nearly get murdered by Ray Mercer?
Holy shit lmao that was some action movie shit
They didn’t call Ray Mercer “Merciless” for nothing. 🥊
31:15 who else catch that officer getting hit by the chair 😂😂😂
I was looking for this comment lol
😂😂
that shit was funny ash ngl LMAO
That Manny v JMM fight. They were always great fights. I was ready for JMM to finally concede in this last bout to the better fighter and then boom from nowhere JMM lands one whilst he was in trouble for most of the fight. Comebacks were made!
31:10 someone throws a chair at the announcer
13:30 has to be the most brutal punch in the history of mankind
Absolutely 👍🏻! That MOFO was FLUSH ! I literally just posted about that punch.
Nobody expected the one and only manny pacquiao to get knocked out and put to sleep the way he did... but man was that beautiful!
Those body punches were just brutal and the left the head simply convinced him to go down.
I don't know how many "Oowws" I said in this whole video but I had a great time watching this. I'm Mexican so I felt honored that the first KO was from Marquez vs Pacquiao.
I love Boxing 🥊
@Nikolai🤓
@Patrick Gilbert ufc>>>
MMA > Boxing
@Jose Loza the blood on your gloves and head gear, gotta love it 🥊
The smell of your hands after u take off gloves that ain't been washed or aired out. Love bru. 🥴🤜🤛.
So many great KOs I haven't seen in the other boxing compilations out there.
Kudos on the variety!
Just one excellent quality video after another from TRB. Bravo and thanks. Great content and even the details like consistent audio volume from multiple clips. IMO the best martial arts channel on YT.
Great compilation! Love me some Butterbean!
The one 30 mins in when they're complaining about the ref stopping it when the guy was literally being bounced in and out of the shadow realm. 😂 Absolutely mental.
They literally said he was out on his feet 😭😭
They only show Manny get knock out one time but where’s the part when Manny knock him out 3 times 😂
I do not recall Manny KO Juan in any fight so not sure why there is laughing with tears. He knock him down multiple times but the warrior Juan got up and made it to the end of the fight/s and has a record of 2 loses, 1 Draw and 1 win by KO against Manny. Я люблю бокс !
Спасибо за видео!
С любовью из России 🇷🇺
p.s. старые бои можно смотреть бесконечно!!!
It is crazy how fighters like pac run that risk with that leaping in style. Of course good luck pulling it off
14:20 Dude gets caught with a flush left hook and is laid out. Barely gets up at the 10 count and basically falls back into the ropes when he makes it to his feet , how in the world was this not stopped. Dude didn’t even put his hands up for the final shot he was so out of it.
31:18 where did that flying chair come from lmao
I literally came down here to see if anyone else caught that lmfaoooo
That Ali fight was like a video game and guy in blue shorts had unlimited lives.
@Big Daddy T Richardson No worries. Glad I could help.
@Constantine
Thank you for that man, I appreciate it.
Bob Foster. Great light heavy but got beat every time he tried the bigger guys.
Yu hell

@B R I guess football players should just play without pads & helmets
@B R
You're just offering a false dilemma. Nobody is asking for pillow fights. Why not after a knockdown give the boxer a 60 second count to get up and recover.

A one punch ko tops it all!
Unexpected, spectacular and devastating that puts all in awe!
What puts me in awe is a body shot KO.
Manny was a savage letting it off then a beast connects with one stiff straight and kos manny to sleep, my father watched it live and he cryed.
30:19 “I disagree with the stoppage, he should get knocked down one more time.” Oh how times have changed… 😂
What do you want brain damage to accur
You have to respect the ref when he helps the boxer after a knockout by turning him towards his opponent and letting him continue.
Still say that Ward/Gatti fight (1st) completely changed the view of the sport, where before was about race, but after brought it back to the honor and respect the sport across the board.
You can't start this video with the legendary Pacquiao getting knocked out 🤦♂
Thanks for the very entertaining video, and showing the knockouts from when boxing was really boxing, not that mma crap people like now.
go back and count each time fury took an 14 count i mean a ten count! its just facts not a lie or a slander, he still had ability to get up and come back to win but if he would have been counted out in any other venue not in the uk!

bro literally hugged ali's leg
0:18 “Manny hits him with an elbow”😮😂😮😂
I love these type of sports. Two men talking trash for months step in the ring and throw some hands. Modern day Gladiators
How hard I could hit my brother-11:17
How hard I decided to hit him-28:50
How he described it to my dad-13:32
How hard my dad is gonna hit me-17:10
Check out Naoya Inoue, his KOs are insane!
The first fight with Ali shows the difference between the way refs call the match today. That fight should have been over after the 3rd knockout in the same round. I know there wasn't a 3 knockdown rule but refs back then didn't care about safety!
I love when people make and give us gifts to watch like this! Kudos to whomever compiled this awesome vid
😱Damn, Mike hit buddy so hard I thought it was gonna break his neck. 😳Sheesh.
Never seen many loose so bad damn
He still a great tho
AND HE WAS NOT GIVEN CREDIT FOR KO OF MANNY
You don't have to capitalize your sentence.
damn this brings back so many memories look how skinny james toney was back then looks like he went from light weight to heavy! lmao!! hes a fn beast though! a def legend!
20:35 off that referee for not stepping in earlier. Morrison is out on his feet. Those unnecessary punches undoubtedly did severe brain damage to poor ole' Tommy. RIP to The Duke.
Ali knocked dude down 24 times in a 8 rd fight 😩dammit boy!
12:13 "the referee waves him back in" POW! hahahaha, love it.
11:46 Too much power put on that punch I like that
Some of these fights would never go one today. Though I liked the video that said recorded earlier. I would hope so. The Weaver & Tate fight was epic. Weaver was losing the fight, then in the 15th rd with seconds to go he knocked Tate out.

10 years later the first knockout still hard to watch
26:39 fire that ref. Stops it 3 seconds before the bell. But I guess it saved him from another round of getting pounded on but still..
That Marquez KO on Pacquiao was great to see.
A true definition of being put to sleep.
Ik manny still would’ve gotten knocked out on the hit but he also got smacked with that flying elbow straight to the face damn 💀
Anyone else find it interesting that Antonio Margaritto didn’t know his opponent out until the 7th and they said “he finally broke him down” Margaritto was loading his gloves with plaster his whole career. Shameful
My boy Manny. Damn. I was upset that night.
@corey thomas maychicken only want match inside her nest and her will do marathon in the ring hahaha
@corey thomas Mayweather is black so that pretty much sums that up. He is the champion of the black community never look to get admiration from other races especially when it comes to boxing it’s not happening. We know mayweather is TBE that’s all that matters.
@corey thomas he's just greater lil bro bro.
@corey thomas Manny should won 3x on Marquez tho and Manny had knockout every elite aswell. If talk legacy? Get some homework Study history of his boxing ppl are tired explaining everything with y'all idiots
How you lose get knocked out and lose to Floyd Mayweather. Yet still have a better legacy the haterism is crazy.
Long Live "VASILY LOMACHENKO" !!!!
Even my phone started vibrating at some of those body shots!!
Tyson hit him flush on the jaw!(clearly hit him high on the temple) 🤣🤣
10 years later the first knockout still hard to watch
That left hook SRL put on Dave Green has to be the most murderous explosive left hook I’ve ever seen..
RJJ enters the chat
