The One-Lane Bridge Shared By Cars And Trains

  • čas přidán 10. 06. 2019
  • Near Hindon, on the South Island of New Zealand, there's one of only two remaining one-lane road-rail bridges in the country. No barriers, no lights, no sirens: if you're driving across this, you need to make sure to listen out for the train horn.
Thanks to all the Dunedin Railways team! You can find out more about them here:

Why not rerecord the outro (like voice over) and reupload it? Seeing that this is uploaded three week before it was published, you have a plenty damn time to reupload a corrected version.

Well still a good vid cheers!

To understand the mentality of not wanting to build a second bridge for vehicles other than the train because... cost, one must bear in mind that Dunedin was settled by a lot of Scots. Legend has it copper wire was invented by two Scots fighting over possession of a penny.
